Minister Bolat spoke at the Horasis Global meeting: “We aim to be in the top 10 in the world in 2053”

Minister of Commerce Ömer Bolat, who attended the opening program of the meeting, said, “We aim for Turkey to be among the top 10 economies in the world in 2053 and among the top 5 economies in the world according to purchasing power parity.”
Horasis Global Meeting, hosted by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, Gaziantep Chamber of Industry and Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce, with the participation of international investors and CEOs, started with the opening program.

Minister of Commerce Ömer Bolat, who made the opening speech of the Horasis Global Meeting, said that Turkey’s economic target is the top 10 economies and said, “We aim for Turkey to be among the top 10 economies in the world in 2053 and among the top 5 economies in the world according to purchasing power parity.” .
Stating that Gaziantep, which has the fifth most developed economy of Turkey, is an example to other provinces with its imports and exports, Bolat said, “Gaziantep has become the fifth most developed economy of Turkey. In fact, if half of the cities of our country achieve half the scale of Gaziantep, today we would have 25 thousand to 30 thousand people per capita.” “We could be talking about a thousand dollars of national income, but we will soon reach those days towards the Turkey Century target,” he said.
